You asked how I did this.
It's a normal texture with glow and transparency added (transparency has a yellowish colour). Used a plugin that can deform meshes to animate the flame and give it a swirly shape.

I will try achieving a simular result.
I assume I have permission to use your texture since you've provided a link to it. I'm not sure I will (I might try to make my own ;) ) but whether I do or not I will surely give you credits when I upload the final render.
